Orodruin was founded in Dec. of 2000. The themes and locations from Middle Earth served as the main lyrical inspiration for the project. A debut demo came out in January '01 and was followed by several other releases, including splits with Vinterriket and Vordr, before being put on a decade-long hiatus.
